Plastic Collapse
The Mural deals with the topic of social and environmental collapse.
The composition presents a garden where natural flowers no longer grow, the landscape has been replaced by plastic pieces which imitate the most primitive vegetation.
Under these pieces of plastic you can distinguish more and more hidden the fossils of humanity, which has buried itself under this massive production of plastics.
The design has childish and strident language and colours that further accentuate the frivolous and black nature of this illustration.
For me, this mural must be understood as a warning and a reminder of the catastrophic end to which we will lead if we do not change the model of life, production and consumption.
The Project was part of the 10 years celebration of the urban art producer company Rebobinart. And it was painted on the outdoor walls of the historic building “La Modelo”.
