The Knowledge Dragon
The Dragon of Knowledge is a mural that was created as a commission from the Pau Vila Institute in Sabadell, Barcelona.
The center wanted to renew the aesthetic of its exterior walls, with a focus on art and education. In the final composition, motifs such as science, literature, the humanities, and art can be recognized, all simplified into building blocks that form and organize three-dimensional figures. The central element is an Eastern dragon, a symbol of knowledge and wisdom.
This commission has symbolized a great artistic challenge, in which I worked for the first time drawing the figures and defining the shapes with fine brushstrokes. I hope to present more murals in this style soon!
